Section 29-600 JURISDICTION Section 29-601 The Board of Appeals, in conformity with the provisions
of this Ordinance, shall act upon all questions as they may arise
in the administration of the Zoning Ordinance, including the interpretation
of zoning maps. The Board of Appeals shall also hear arid decide
all matters referred to it or which it is required to decide under
this Ordinance. Section 29-701 In addition to the matters set forth in this section, the Board of Appeals shall have the power to hear applications: Section 29-702 Appeal of any order, requirement, decision, grant
or refusal made by the Zoning Administrator or any other Administrative
Board or official charged with the enforcement of the provisions
of the Zoning Ordinance with the exception of decisions made by
the Planning Commission in regard to Special Approvals. Section 29-704 For a variance from the terms of this Ordinance
where by reason of the exceptional narrowness, shallowness, or
shape of a specific piece of property on the effective date of
this Ordinance, or by reason of exceptional topography conditions,
or other extraordinary conditions of land, buildings or structures,
or of the development of property immediately adjacent to the property
in question, the literal enforcement of the requirements of this
Ordinance would involve practical difficulties, or would cause
undue hardship. |
