Section 28-101 Amendments or supplements to this Zoning Ordinance may be made from time-to-time in the manner provided by law. Section 28-200 PROCEDURE Section 28-201 The following may request an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance Text or Map: 1. The Township Board. 2. The Planning Commission, 3. The Zoning Board of appeals. 5. A resident of, or owner of land in the Forest Home Township. 1. A request shall be made upon the filing of a form for an Ordinance Amendment which shall be obtainable from the Township Zoning Administrator or the Township Clerk. 2. This form shall be filled out in it's entirety and be accompanied by a nonrefundable application fee as specified in the Forest Home Township Schedule of Fees as adopted and amended from time to time by the Township Board. 3. An application for a rezoning of a parcel or parcels of property shall contain, at a minimum, the following information:
a. The language requested to be changed, added or deleted. b. The reason for the requested change. c. The impact, expected or desired result of amending the text
of the Ordinance, 5. The application and fee shall be submitted to the Zoning Administrator who shall review the submitted application for completeness and accuracy. 6. Upon a determination that all required materials and information has been submitted, the Zoning Administrator shall notify the Secretary of the Planning Commission who shall cause a public hearing to be scheduled. Section 28-300 PLANNING COMMISSION: ACTION ON APPLICATION Section 28-301 Said applications shall be scheduled for a public hearing by the Planning Commission at its next meeting following the receipt thereof by the Secretary of the Planning Commission, provided however, that there is adequate and sufficient time for giving all public notices required by law. Section 28-302 For text amendment requests, the Planning Commission may recommend to the Township Board, modification, rejection or the adoption of said proposal either in its original or changed form. Section 28-303 For rezoning requests, the Planning Commission
may recommend the rezoning of all the property to the zone requested,
a portion of the property to the zone requested or recommend denial
of the rezone request.
