Section 23-100 GENERAL PROVISIONS
Section 23-101 Area Affected - The requirements of this Article supplement those imposed on the same lands by any underlying zoning provisions of this Article or any other Articles of Forest Home Township. This Article supersedes all conflicting Articles, unless otherwise provided, in the underlying zoning districts to the extent of such a conflict and no further.
Section 23-200 PURPOSE
Section 23-201 In order to protect the public health, peace, safety and welfare of the Township and its residents, this Article is enacted to establish reasonable and uniform limitations, safeguards, and controls for the operation, production, and transportation of oil. gas, and other hydrocarbon substances within the Township. The provisions set forth in this Article shall be considered as minimum requirements and shall not relieve any person from any duty imposed by law to use reasonable care and take reasonable precautions for the safeguarding of people and the protection of and noninterference with property rights.
Section 23-202 No person shall construct, erect, operate, maintain,
or permit to exist, any surface facility, surface facility equipment,
pipeline, or flow line in violation of any of the provisions of this
Article.
