Section 21-301 Antenna co-located on telecommunications towers or alternative tower structures which have received Special Approval which included review of the standards set forth in Article 19 of this Ordinance are specifically permitted in any zone. Section 21-302 Telecommunication towers shall not be located in any area designated by the Forest Home Township Master Plan, as amended or revised from time-to-time, as Scenic View Areas and Environmentally Sensitive Areas. Section 21-303 No structure more than one hundred fifty feet (150') tall can be built within a diameter of ten thousand feet (10,000') from the airport or within the conical airspace which extends four thousand feet (4,000') beyond that diameter. Section 21-304 Towers and personal wireless service facilities shall be located to provide adequate coverage and adequate capacity with the least number of towers and antennas which is technically and economically feasible. Section 21-305 The use of repeaters to assure adequate coverage, or to fill holes within areas of otherwise adequate coverage, while minimizing the number of towers is permitted and encouraged. Section 21-306 An applicant who has received Special Approval may, within thirty (30) days written notice to the Planning Commission and Township Board, install one or more additional repeaters by right. Section 21-308 Site plan Review before the Planning Commission shall be required. Section 21-309The Planning Commission shall publish written notice of the public meeting as specified in Article 19 of this Ordinance. The applicant shall detail the number, location, power output and
coverage of proposed repeaters in their systems and provide engineering
data to justify their use. |
