ARTICLE 21 - GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR THE LOCATION
OF WIRELESS Section 21-102 Protect residential areas from potential adverse impact of towers and antennas such as causing visual pollution, creating safety hazards or reducing property values on adjacent properties; Section 21-103 Encourage the location of towers in nonresidential areas; Section 21-104 Minimize the total number of towers throughout the community; Section 21-105 Encourage the joint use of new and existing tower sites rather than the construction of additional towers; Section 21-106 Encourage developers of towers and antennas to configure them in a way that minimizes their adverse visual impact; Section 21-107 Comply with provisions of State and Federal law; Section 21-108 Consider the public health and safety of telecommunication towers and alternative tower structures; Section 21-109 Avoid potential damage to adjacent property from tower failure; and Section 21-110 To protect areas designates as Scenic View Areas and Environmentally Sensitive Areas by the Forest Home Township Master Plan. Section 21-111 Preserve the scenic rural character and appearance of the township while simultaneously allowing adequate personal wireless services to be developed. Section 21-112 Minimize the total number and height of towers
throughout the township.
