Section 20-2500 LAND CLEARING

Section 20-2501 No person shall undertake or carry out any such activity or use, including any grading, clearing, cutting and filling, excavating, or tree removal on property for which site plan approval is required by this Ordinance, nor shall such activity proceed prior to obtaining necessary soil erosion and sedimentation control permit, wetland permits, flood plains permits, high risk erosion or sand dune permits.

Section 20-2502 Violators of Section 20-2501 above are subject to penalties for each day of the violation from the day of discovery of the incident until a restoration plan/site plan is approved.

Section 20-2600 LANDSCAPING: DESIGN, SCREENING & GREENBELTS

Section 20-2601 The intent of this Section is to promote the public's health, safety and general welfare by: minimizing noise, air and visual pollution; improving the appearance of off-street parking and other vehicular use between in-compatible land uses; regulating areas; requiring buffering the appearance of property abutting public rights-of -way; protecting and preserving the appearance, character and value of the community and its residential neighborhood areas; preventing Soil erosion and soil depletion; and, promoting soil water retention.

Section 20-2602 Application: A Landscape Plan with these requirements shall apply to all uses for which site plan review is required.

Section 20-2603 No site plan shall be approved unless said site plan shall show landscaping, greenbelt buffers and screening consistent with the requirements set forth herein.

Section 20-2604 Screening is the enclosure of an area by a visual barrier, which may include a landscape buffer, solid fencing or other material as specified in this Article.

Section 20-2605 Fencing is the enclosure of an area by the materials identified in this Article.
