ARTICLE 9 - RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS - "R-2" Section 9-100 PURPOSE

Section 9-101 These Districts are primarily intended to promote the proper use, enjoyment and conservation of the water, land, topographic and vegetative resources of areas of the Township which lie across the road from bodies of water. Low density development and low intensity use are encouraged.

Section 9-200 PRIMARY USES (Allowed By Right)

The use of all lands, premises and resources, and the erection and use of all building and structures in District "R-2" shall hereafter be limited to the following Primary Uses (Not Subject to Special Approval)

One-family dwelling having not less than eight hundred (800) square feet of floor area and on not less than forty thousand (40,000) square feet of land and not less than two hundred feet (200') of lot throughout the width of the parcel.

Section 9-203 Dwellings for two families, having not less than four hundred eighty (480) square feet of floor area per family and not less than forty thousand (40,000) square feet of land area per family and not less than two hundred feet (200') of lot width throughout the width of the parcel.

Section 9-204 Home Occupations. See Article 3

Section 9-205 Publicly-owned land but not buildings such as warehouses, garages, shops or storage yards.

Section 9-206 Accessory buildings and structures are incidental to the primary use of the district and to the specific parcel on which they are located.
