Section 3-2701 One dock per lot may be constructed which meets the following requirements: 1. The dock site and length will be determined by the effect of the intrusion on safety, wildlife and the natural character of the water body. 2. The amount of dock which extends into the adjoining body of water may be made a condition of the permit. 3. The length of a dock parallel to the shore may not exceed twenty-four feet (24), so that it will not negatively effect the natural character of the shore/wetland. 4. A dock constructed parallel to the shore must be located as close
as possible to the shoreline, so it will not interfere with safe navigation. 6. A dock may not extend into a lake more than one hundred feet (100')
or to a point where the water is at least four feet (4') in depth,
whichever is the most reasonable given the historical length of docks
in the area. Section 3-2703 The lot must have a minimum of one hundred feet (100') of waterfront or be a nonconforming lot.
