Section 3-2501 A boardwalk must meet the following requirements:

1. May nom exceed four feet (4') in width.

2. Must be elevated to permit the drainage/flow of water.

3. Must be designed to have the minimum impact on the wetland.

4. Must have no other feasible alternatives to access the water body.

Section 3-2502 If a boardwalk is to be constructed in a wetland, then Wetland Permits must be obtained from Forest Home Township and the Michigan Department of Environmental Qualimy.

Section 3-2600 DECKS/ STRUCTURES

Section 3-2601 One (1) deck/structure may be constructed which meets the following requirements: 1. Does not exceed an area of one hundred fifty (150) square feet.

2. Must beset back at least thirty feet (30') from the edge of the wooded shoreline. 3. Must be set back at least thirty feet (30') from all property boundaries.

Section 3-2602 If a deck/structure is to be constructed in a wetland, then Wetlands Permits must be obtained from Forest Home Township and the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.

Section 3-2603 A structure may be located within the dimensions of a deck or in place of a deck. Section 3-2604 A deck in one location and a structure in a separate location is not permitted.
