Section 3-1801 All outdoor lighting fixtures including but not limited to pole mounted or building mounted yard lights, dock lights, and shoreline lights other than decorative residential lighting such as porch or low level lawn lights, shall be subject to the following regulations. Section 3-1802 Lighting shall be designed and constructed in such a manner to insure that direct or directly reflected light is confined to the area needing illumination and that it is not directed off the property. Section 3-1803 Lighting fixtures shall be a down-type having one hundred
(100) percent cut off. The light rays may not be emitted by the installed
fixture at angles above the horizonal plane, as may be certified by
photometric test. Section 3-1805 There shall be no blinking, flashing, fluttering or strobe lights which change light intensity, brightness or color unless required by the Federal Aviation Administration or Michigan Aeronautics Commission. Beacon lights are not permitted. Section 3-1806 No colored lights shall be used at any location or
in any manner so as to be confused with or construed as traffic control
