Section 2-600 "E"

Section 2-601 Easement. The legal right given to a person or entity or to the public to cross on or over the property of another for a specified purpose.

Section 2-602 ENT. Electromagnetic frequency radiation.

Section 2-603 Endangered Species. Any plant/animal identified by the state of Michigan or U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service as being threatened with extinction.

Section 2-604 Environmentally Sensitive Area. Any of the following lands:

1) easily erodible
2) steep slope over 15%
3) high clay content of soil
4) within 100' of a wetland
5) shoreline
6) floodplain
7) groundwater recharge area
8) habitat for rare. threatened or endangered plants and/or wildlife as listed by the
Ml DNR and/or U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.
9) historical importance as determined by the Township
10) archaeological importance as determined by the Township

Section 2-605 Essential Services. The erection. construction, alteration, or maintenance by public utilities or municipal departments. commissions. or boards of underground or overhead gas. electrical, steam, water, or sewer transmission, distribution, collection. supply or disposal systems including poles, wires, mains, pipes, conduits, cables, hydrants. and other similar equipment and appurtenances necessary for such systems to furnish an adequate level of service. Telecommunication towers or facilities. alternative tower structures and wireless communication antenna are not included within this definition.

Section 2-606 Existing Building. A building whose construction has been completed or a building on which substantial work has begun prior to the effective date of this Ordinance or any amendment.
