FOREST HOME TOWNSHIP
Regular Meeting
September 4, 2003
Meeting called to order by Supervisor Smith at 7:00 P.M.
Officers Present: T. Smith, S. Mahan, T. Kent, D. Crandall, Steiner
Guests: J. Hallberg
Pledge of Allegiance.
Motion by Kent to approve the Resolution of Support for new baseball facilities for Clearwater Township.
Supported by Steiner and carried.
Moved by Crandall to approve the Minutes of the August 7, 2003 Meeting. Supported by Kent and carried.
Motion by Steiner to approve expenditures (check # 3585 thru 3624) in the amount of $12,369.97. Supported by Mahan and carried.
Treasurer’s report shows a balance of $819,001.46.
Trustee Steiner brought the Board up to date on the current issues being resolved through the Forest Home Township Planning Commission.
Trustee Crandall brought the Board up to date on the current projects of the Forest Home Township Parks
and Recreation Committee.
Supervisor Smith read a letter to the Board from a local resident requesting that the Board reconsider
‘restrictions’ at the Jacobs Access Site. Supervisor Smith will contact the local sign contractor to discuss
wording that will not restrict access to individuals who are unable to walk that distance.
Meeting adjourned at 8:15 P.M.
