Regular Meeting
May 1, 2003
Meeting called to order by Supervisor Smith at 7:00 P.M.
Officers Present: T. Smith, S. Mahan, T. Kent, D. Crandall, Steiner
Guests: T. Salveta, A. Luurtsema
Meeting Called to Order at 7:00 P.M.
Pledge of Allegiance.
T. Salveta Addressed the Board regarding a possible County Recycling Program.
Motion by Crandall to approve the Minutes of the April 3, 2003 Meeting. Supported by Mahan and carried.
Motion by Steiner to approve expenditures in the amount of $10,898.26. Supported by Kent and carried.
Treasurer’s report shows a balance of $836,972.82.
Motion by Mahan to accept, with regret, the resignation of M. Comfort from the Parks and Recreation Committee. Supported by Steiner and carried.
Motion by Mahan to approve Resolution #1 of 2003/2004 (Telecommunications Rights-Of-Way). Supported by Kent. Roll call vote:
Aye: Kent, Crandall, Smith, Steiner and Mahan
Nay: None
Supervisor Smith read a letter from The Community and Business Awareness Group.
