FOREST HOME TOWNSHIP
Regular Meeting
December 4, 2008
Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M.
Officers Present: T. Smith, S. Mahan, T. Kent, D. Crandall, D. Steiner
Guests: None
Pledge of Allegiance.
Motion by Crandall to approve the Agenda with the addition of three items – Road Projects for 2009; Area Seniors Request Update and Parks & Recreation Update to follow Planning Commission Update. Supported by Steiner and carried.
Motion by Kent to approve Resolution #7 of 08/09 (Board of Review December 2008 Meeting Date). Supported by Crandall and carried with the following voting:
Aye: Smith, Crandall, Kent, Steiner, Mahan
Nay: None
Resolution declared adopted.
Motion by Smith to approve the Forest Home Township Board Meeting Schedule for 2009. Supported by Mahan and carried.
The Board discussed possible Road Paving Projects for 2009 – Final selections will take place at a later meeting.
Motion by Crandall to approve the Minutes of the 11/06/08 Meeting. Supported by Steiner and carried.
Motion by Steiner to approve the Minutes of the 11/11/08 Special Meeting. Supported by Kent and carried.
Motion by Smith to approve expenditures in the amount of $19,567.76. Supported by Steiner and carried.
Treasurer’s Report was given.
Planning Commission: Trustee Steiner gave the Board an update on current Planning Commission issues.
Parks & Recreation Committee: Trustee Crandall brought the Board up to date on the current efforts of the Parks & Rec. Committee.
Motion by Kent to approve Resolution # 8 of 08/09 (Approval of Amendment #1 to Glacial Hills Pathway and Natural Area Grant (TF 06-112). Supported by Mahan and carried with the following voting:
Aye: Smith, Mahan, Kent, Crandall, Steiner.
