FOREST HOME TOWNSHIP
Regular Meeting
June 5, 2008
Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M.
Officers Present: T. Smith, S. Mahan, D. Crandall, D. Steiner
Absent: T. Kent
Guests: E. McDuffie, C. Drouillard, M. Drouillard, H. Langegger, F. Langegger, F. Sittel, S. Sittel, M. Lee
Pledge of Allegiance.
Motion by Steiner to approve the Agenda. Supported by Crandall and carried.
Bellaire Fire Board Chairman, E. McDuffie informed the Board that they have contacted someone who is going to prepare their grant application and requested a letter of support from the township board.
Motion by Crandall to approve the Minutes of the 05/01/08 Meeting. Supported by Steiner and carried.
Motion by Crandall to approve expenditures in the amount of $24,587.51. Supported by Steiner and carried.
Treasurer’s Report was given.
Motion by Smith to transfer $100,000.00 into a 3-month CD and $100,000.00 into a 6-month CD. Supported by Mahan and carried.
Planning Commission: Considered applications which entailed environmentally sensitive areas. Note: The next Ad Hoc Shoreline Committee meeting will be on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. at the Forest Home Township Hall.
Parks & Recreation Committee: The Steiner Rd. Access fence was extended and both the Steiner Rd. Access and the Clam Lake property received some spring cleaning.
