Regular Meeting
August 2, 2007
Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M.
Officers Present: T. Smith, S. Mahan, T. Kent, D. Steiner , D. Crandall

Pledge of Allegiance.
Motion by Steiner to approve the Agenda . Supported by Crandall and carried.
Motion by Kent to approve the support of the solicitation of bids for the proposed county wide recycling project. Supported by Mahan and carried.
Motion by Kent to approve the Minutes of the 07/05/07 Meeting. Supported by Crandall and carried.
Motion by Crandall to approve expenditures (check # 5508 thru 5550) in the amount of $25,804.50. Supported by Steiner and carried.
Treasurer’s Report shows a balance of $964,185.53
Zoning Administrator Smith informed the Board that the Torch Lake Protection Alliance has filed an appeal with the ZBA regarding a permit application that was approved by the Planning Commission.
Trustee Steiner informed the Board that the Master Plan Review and Update is nearly complete. Draft copies should be available soon.
Trustee Crandall brought the Board up to date on the work being done at various Access Sites, as well as the Township Park
Supervisor Smith read a request from the Village of Bellaire for financial assistance with the cost of mowing Richardi Park as well as the Soccer Field - $3,166.00. The Board has requested that a representative of the Village attend the September meeting to help with clarification of these costs..
