FOREST HOME TOWNSHIP
Regular Meeting
July 5, 2007
Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M.
Officers Present: T. Smith, S. Mahan, T. Kent, D. Steiner , D. Crandall
Guests: J. Fuller, J. Bedell, R. Milock, D. Bedell, B. Bedell, L. Offenbecker, J. Meyers, N. Martin, A. Kik, B. Kik, D. Newland, D. Newland, R. Reilly
Pledge of Allegiance.
Motion by Steiner to approve the Agenda . Supported by Crandall and carried.
J. Meyers from the County Planning Office, along with several township residents who support a countywide recycling plan addressed the Board. They asked the Board to consider supporting the solicitation of bids for this project. The estimated cost of establishing a drop off recycling center for use by township residents is approximately $18 to $25 (maximum) per year and would be added to December Tax Bills. The Board is interested in hearing from township residents regarding their opinions about this project.
Motion by Kent to approve the Minutes of the 06/07/07 Meeting. Supported by Steiner and carried.
Motion by Crandall to approve expenditures (check # 5469 thru 5507) in the amount of $61,955.98. Supported by Kent and carried.
Trustee Crandall brought the Board up to date regarding the many projects that the Parks & Recreation Committee are now pursuing.
Treasurer’s Report shows a balance of $960,529.12.
