Regular Meeting
August 3, 2006
Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M.
Officers Present: T. Smith, S. Mahan, D. Crandall, D. Steiner
Absent: T. Kent
Guests: T. Malone
Pledge of Allegiance.
Motion by Steiner to approve the Agenda. Supported by Crandall and carried.
Motion by Crandall to approve Resolution #2 of 06/07 (Budget Amendment increasing the Cemetery Fund
276-740 to $13,000.00). Supported by Steiner and carried.
Motion by Steiner to approve Resolution #3 of 06/07 (Budget Amendment increasing the Twp. Hall R & M
265-930 to $7,000.00). Supported by Smith and carried.
Motion by Crandall to approve Resolution #4 of 06/07 (Budget Amendment increasing the Capital Outlay
101-977 to $15,000.00). Supported by Mahan and carried.
Motion by Crandall to approve the Minutes of the 07/06/06 Meeting. Supported by Steiner and carried.
Motion by Mahan to approve expenditures (check # 5008 thru 5059) in the amount of $42,708.94. Supported by Crandall and carried.
The Board discussed the site plan submitted by Architects, Clark, Walter & Sirrine. It was decided that the Board would request the Architects attend a Special Meeting (date to be determined) to go over the plans.
Trustee Steiner informed the Board that the Planning Commission has decided to begin holding bi-monthly
Meetings with one meeting devoted to the Master Plan changes being discussed.
Supervisor Smith informed the Board that he had received an update from the Road Commission regarding
The law suit being pursued jointly by the Antrim County Road Commission and the Forest Home Township Board regarding the fence that was erected on the public aright-of-way on Steiner Rd. The consensus of the Board was that this issue should be pursued to completion.
