FOREST HOME TOWNSHIP
Regular Meeting
November 3, 2005
Meeting called to order by Supervisor Smith at 7:00 P.M.
Officers Present: T. Smith, S. Mahan, T. Kent, D. Crandall, D. Steiner
Pledge of Allegiance.
Motion by Steiner to approve the Agenda as corrected. Supported by Smith and carried.
Motion by Mahan to accept the bid of $950.00 from Northern Exposure for snow removal for the 2005/2006 season. Supported by Kent and carried.
Motion by Crandall to accept the Agreement between the Antrim County Road Commission and Forest Home Township whereby the township has agreed to reimburse the road commission 67% of all attorney fees, costs and expenses (aggregate costs) associated with litigation that has commenced seeking the removal of a fence erected at the Steiner Road Lake Access Site. Supported by Kent and carried.
Motion by Steiner to approve the Minutes of the 10/06/05 Meeting. Supported by Crandall and carried.
Motion by Crandall to approve expenditures (check # 4592 thru 4626) in the amount of $10,836.00. Supported by Steiner and carried.
Treasurer’s report shows a balance of $588,521.50.
Trustee Steiner brought the Board up to date on the current status of the Oil & Gas Ordinance that the commission is working on.
Trustee Crandall brought the Board up to date on the current issues being pursued by the Parks & Recreation Committee.
Meeting adjourned at 8:50 P.M.
