Regular Meeting
January 6, 2005
Meeting called to order by Supervisor Smith at 7:00 P.M.
Officers Present: T. Smith, S. Mahan, D. Crandall, S. Steiner
Absent: T. Kent
Guests: J. Hallberg
Pledge of Allegiance.
Motion by Smith to reappoint E. Watrous, R. DiGuili, and E. Dewey to the Board of Review. Supported by Mahan and carried.
Motion by Steiner to reappoint C. Carrick and T. Brown to the Library Board (3 year terms). Supported by Smith and carried.
Motion by Crandall to approve the minutes of the December 2, 2004 meeting, with the following correction – “Board agrees to share with the Village of Bellaire, the cost of maintenance for Richardi Park, Rotary Park, and the Forest Home Township section of the Walking Path – approximately $6,000.00 – for the 2005 mowing season”. Supported by Mahan and carried.
Motion by Steiner to approve expenditures (check # 4210 thru 4255) in the amount of $15,752.61. Supported by Crandall and carried.
Board approved the changing of a current CD to a higher interest CD. Penalty for early withdrawal will be more than compensated for with the higher interest CD.
Motion by Smith to reserve a full page ad in the upcoming Bellaire Chamber of Commerce 2005 Visitor’s Guide in process color – cost $660.00. Supported by Steiner and carried.
