FOREST HOME TOWNSHIP
Regular Meeting
September 2, 2004
Meeting called to order by Supervisor Smith at 7:00 P.M.
Officers Present: T. Smith, S. Mahan, T. Kent, D. Crandall, S. Steiner
Guests: A. Luurtsema, G. Blair, K. DeYoung
Pledge of Allegiance.
G. Blair, candidate for the position of sheriff addressed the Board.
The Board discussed the feasibility of setting aside an amount annually, within the Road Fund, for use on township streets located within the Village, which will aid the Village in their future street upgrade plans.
Motion by Crandall to approve the minutes of the August 5, 2004 meeting. Supported by Steiner and carried.
Motion by Steiner to approve expenditures (check # 4051 thru 4109) in the amount of $18,476.91. Supported by Mahan and carried.
Trustee Steiner brought the Board up to date on the issues currently being worked on by the Planning Commission.
Meeting recessed at 7:50 p.m. to allow the board time to tour the property recently purchased by the township.
Meeting reconvened at 8:13 p.m.
Meeting adjourned at 8:14 P.M.
