FOREST HOME TOWNSHIP
Regular Meeting
November 6, 2003

Meeting called to order by Supervisor Smith at 7:00 P.M.

Officers Present: T. Smith, S. Mahan, T. Kent, D. Crandall
Absent: S. Steiner
Guests: J. Hallberg , A. Luurtsema

Pledge of Allegiance.
Al Luurtsema reported to the Board that the October 11th Hazardous Waste Collection was a great success.

Motion by Mahan to approve Resolution #5 of 2003-2004 (Capitalization Policy). Supported by Kent and carried with the following voting: Aye: Kent, Crandall, Smith, Mahan
Nay: None
Absent: Steiner

Motion by Crandall to approve Resolution #6 of 2003-2004 (Budget Amendment). Supported by Kent and carried with the following voting: Aye: Kent, Crandall, Mahan, Smith
Nay: None
Absent: Steiner

Motion by Kent to approve the Cemetery Agreement between Forest Home Township and the Village of Bellaire for Lakeview Cemetery with the addition to Item G of “Minimum of one meeting per year to be held to discuss cemetery issues”. Supported by Crandall and carried.

Moved by Crandall to approve the Minutes of the October 2, 2003 Meeting. Supported by Smith and carried.

Motion by Crandall to approve expenditures (check # 3665 thru 3704) in the amount of $10,161.81. Supported by Kent and carried.

Treasurer’s Report shows a balance of $811,154.58.

Crandall brought the Board up to date on the various projects that the Parks and Recreation Committee are currently working on.

Motion by Smith to approve a 50% distribution split for the Homestead Audit Program. Supported by Mahan and carried.
