FOREST HOME TOWNSHIP
STAKEHOLDER SURVEY - 1996

 

 

Eight different types or styles of residential development are listed below. The first four listed are representative of what is currently occurring in the Township today. The remainder are future options that are available but not occurring in the Township at this time. Refer to the enclosed drawings for examples of each type of residential development pattern.

 

Please select one of the eight choices that most represents the way you believe that residential development should occur in the future in Forest Home Township.

 

 

              Conventional style development throughout the Township which occurs by following the Subdivision Control Act.

 

              Conventional style development throughout the Township which results from avoiding the Subdivision Control Act.

 

              Existing vacant, agricultural and forested land remain devoid of non-farm related structures.

 

              Concentrated development around the Village of Bellaire.

 

              Open Space Subdivisions.

 

              Cluster Development.

 

              Limited Non-Farmstead Development.

 

              Creation of a Village Center at a location other than Bellaire.
